The public entry process for the inaugural Stirling Scottish Marathon is now CLOSED. But we have some places available at a reduced entry of £25 if you can pledge to raise £400.
Supported by Scottish Athletics and Stirling Council, the event will take place on 21 May 2017 and be held in the spectacular and historic setting of Stirlingshire. Starting out with an undulating first five miles, the remainder of the course is set to be fast and suitable for all abilities and will provide an awe-inspiring experience for accomplished and first-time marathoners alike.
With the legendary Liz McColgan and Zola Budd already signed up to take part, you will be rubbing shoulders with Olympic royalty too. Liz, of course, needs no introduction to Scotland! As a former 10,000m World Champion, double Commonwealth Champion and Olympic silver medallist – not to mention winner of the New York, Tokyo and London Marathons – her place as a UK athletics great is assured. Her marathon best of 2:26:52 in 1997 still stands as a Scottish record.
Whether you want to challenge yourself, be a source of inspiration to others or simply embrace a love of running, the high of crossing the Stirling Scottish Marathon finish line is a feeling you will want to experience. Click here to download your Stirling Scottish Marathon Form.
