Where do I start? I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Ardoch House for the 7 Steps to Health Course. I mean this from the bottom of my heart – It was so many things – a great atmosphere, relaxing, positive, so helpful, comfortable, comforting, inspiring, happy, fun, with loads of laughter thrown in for good measure and it just lifted my spirits tremendously! The staff members without exception, made us all feel so very welcome and it was obvious they were sincere and very caring people. You have a lovely team and “What a tonic!!”
This course has opened my eyes to thinking about ‘ME’ putting myself first. Learning new techniques to relax feel good and have laughter in my life again. As a visually impaired person I was included in every session and facilitators took time to look after me. The only thing I could suggest is enlarge written material were possible, I am fortunate to have some very useful sight and can use a magnifier. I really enjoyed watching Dare to bare was emotional but really good to hear how these ladies had the confidence to get up and strut their stuff. Well done to each and everyone of them. I don’t know if you would consider me for this as I am feeling really confident about myself after 7 steps course. I will definitely recommend this course to others. I will speak to my managers and suggest this course for our staff. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Rainbow Valley for giving me this chance to take part in the course. Also a great big thank you to Betty she is an amazing lady helped relax me also look out for me.
Rainbow Valley provide the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. As the relative of someone with the diagnosis it was a break in the most comfortable, stunning and relaxing environment. It allowed the bottled up emotions that you didnt know were there a means of escape. It allowed you as a person a means of escape. There was no poor me. But a learning experience of how to be good to me. It equipped you with skills to move forward. It was not a clinic, nor a ward or an appointment. It was not a hospital. It was a holistic nourishment and a positive step forward. It was time to be together.
I feel I was so honoured to have the opportunity to be enrolled in this fabulous course with my sister. Seeing her and others, joyful and contributing to everything they were asked to get involved in. So much laughs and smiles was contagious.
Everyone was genuinely respectful and supportive to each other to which a strong friendship bond was developed amongst us all and with the wonderful caring staff.
I felt truly I felt truly valued and lucky to have had this opportunity to be part of the Rainbow valley experience and hope it’s not the last xx
I really enjoyed the whole course in general, I felt everything had its place on the course and it was well planned out. Karen Phil & Betty were fabulous and took such great care of us. Also wee Ann and the chef were fabulous. We both left on an absolute high. Thanks again.
